margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/undeletable-files.png\"\/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Create a <b>Live USB<\/b> of the Slitaz OS using <b>LiLi USB Creator<\/b> as shown below in the image<a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-6iVJOi2suYY\/VAoZ67USFBI\/AAAAAAAAA1g\/0D8umwJYS2g\/s1600\/liveusb.png\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Lili USB Creator\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/liveusb.png\" title=\"Lili USB Creator\"\/><\/a><b>Note:-<\/b>In Step 2 of the LiLi USB Creator Wizard you will see a compatibility issue as shown below so need to worry just <b>ignore<\/b> that.<a href=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/step2.png\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/step2.png\"\/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Then you have to boot your PC or Laptop from this Live USB you just created.For this, restart your computer and enter into <b>BIOS<\/b> usually by pressing <b>del, F2 or F10<\/b> as it varies from device to device or else you can <b>search for your device on the internet<\/b>.Change the setting in the boot option so that you can boot from usb.<\/li>\n<li>After you boot from your USB a menu will appear in which you will choose the first option <b>Slitaz Live<\/b> through arrow keys and then Press <b>Enter<\/b>.You will then see Slitaz&#8217;s Desktop as shown below.<a href=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1-1.png\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1-1.png\"\/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>To delete those files you have to go to the path which you noted down in the 1st step.For this, click the <b>spider icon<\/b> in the upper left corner and then choose <b>PCMan File Manager<\/b> from the <b>System Tools<\/b> as shown below  <a href=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2-1.png\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2-1.png\"\/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>A window will appear in front of you in which on the left sidebar you will see all your <b>partitions<\/b> like all three partitions of mine are shown in the image below.<a href=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/3-1.png\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/3-1.png\"\/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Now locate the undeletable files in one of these partitions and then select those files and <b>delete them<\/b> by pressing <b>Shift + delete(to permanently delete)<\/b> and this time deletion will work. <a href=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/7.png\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/7.png\"\/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Now after deletion you need to reboot your computer but this time <b>boot from your Hard Disk<\/b>(normal boot) and not from USB.For this just click on the Power Icon in the upper right corner and then choose <b>Reboot system<\/b> as shown.<a href=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/9.png\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/9.png\"\/><\/a>  <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Reason Why The Above Method Works<\/h3>\n<p>In Windows the file name cannot contain some characters shown below in the image.<a href=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/fileerror.png\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/fileerror.png\"\/><\/a>The <b>Screenshot images<\/b> we just deleted contained <b>&#8216;:&#8217; character<\/b> in its file name so that was the main reason why it was showing us an error when we tried to delete or rename it.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand in Linux based OS the file names can contain any characters other than<\/p>\n<ul style=\"padding-bottom:0\">\n<li><b>a forward slash ( \/ )<\/b>, which is reserved for use as the name of the root directory (i.e., the directory that contains all other directories and files) and as a directory separator<\/li>\n<li><b>null<\/b> character (which is used to terminate segments of text).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Spaces are permitted<\/b>, although they are best avoided because they can be incompatible with legacy software in some cases.<\/p>\n<h3>Another type Of Undeletable File<\/h3>\n<p>There are two things about this file <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The file doesn&#8217;t have a name <a href=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/undeletable-file.png\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/undeletable-file.png\"\/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>It gives a permission error as shown when deleted or renamed.<a href=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/fileaccesspermissiondenied.png\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/fileaccesspermissiondenied.png\"\/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The method used by me to <b>delete<\/b> this file was just as described in this post but instead of <b>Slitaz OS<\/b> I used <b>Ubuntu<\/b> as shown<a href=\"https:\/\/ozsns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/linux.png\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em;
