Concerned about privacy of your phone call?
You think someone might be listening in?
Want to tap proof your calls?
If you need to make a phone call and think someone is taping it or you are too concerned about the privacy of your phone calls, worry no more there is a app for that too like everything else. RedPhone is there to save you.
RedPhone is an android app developed by Open Whisper System. Redphone provides end to end encryption for your calls. Securing your conversation so that nobody can listen in. Redphone uses your normal phone number to make and receive calls, so you don’t need yet another identifier. And uses default dialer system of your phone.
But here is the thing, whenever you are making a call you are given the option to upgrade to encrypted calls but for that the person you’re calling need to have RedPhone installed on his device too.
Well according to my knowledge it must be using VoIP to encrypt the call. Other then that its free and open source.
Well you can download and try it from Google Play Store. Here is the link.
Note- For education purpose only. I do not own the app or anything. Try on your own risk.
